I have a M7060HD12 with 25 hours on the clock. I'm still getting used to it and used it to perform some heavy brush cutting this weekend. However, I noticed when I turned the steering wheel all the way to full lock left (or right), the steering wheel would continue to turn. It was an odd feeling hitting full lock when turning and feeling the wheel continue to turn. I was not in 4WD at the time. I was in 2-4 low if that helps. Is this normal?

Normal for hydrostatic steering.

There is no mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the front tires which is unlike a car or light truck.

A feature is built in that should you be motoring down the road and the engine stops, the steering wheel end of the system becomes a hydraulic pump so as you turn the steering wheel you will still be able to steer.
