HF sells a cheap (under 3 buck) terminal and post cleaner. I have a couple and use them regularly.

I have a 1533 regular shift and had terrible battery corrosion problems starting was a nightmare then I discovered on Amazon new battery terminals made of aluminium. They have worked out better than first thought. Picture and product below.
