My slow and fast lever is hard to go from neutral to slow or back to neutral. Any setting is a hard pull to get it into mode.

I assume you are talking about your high/low transmission speeds. This can be difficult on any new tractor. Come to a complete stop - go into reverse for a couple feet. Attempt the transmission speed change just as you are coming to a rolling stop in reverse. It's best to NOT attempt any transmission change while the tractor is in motion. This situation will improve as the tractor is used more.

My 1626HST can be a stiff shift from time to time. I just lightly push forward/reverse, then pull my foot off the peddle, then it pops right into any range (mine is 3 range).

I agree, a little movement to allow gear teeth to align, then come to a complete stop to shift. Not a defect, just normal routine with that gear box.

I agree, a little movement to allow gear teeth to align, then come to a complete stop to shift. Not a defect, just normal routine with that gear box.
