Mahindra 2545
My Mahindra 2545 HST will not move under it's own power. Almost seems like the clutch went out. What can I do to troubleshoot this before taking it in to a mechanic and finding out I need a new clutch? It has 85 hours on it and I bought it a few months ago with 75 hours on it. I do not know if it has had it's 50 hour service done. I was taking it in for a 50 hr and 100 hr service when I noticed the problem.

You might look to see if the clutch pedal has any free play. That's typically where most people start. (assuming of course, it has a clutch) What does the HST mean?

Does HST mean Hydraulic Shuttle Transmission or Hydrostatic Transmissio? These are very different to try and diagnose. So far I have only seen the 2545 with a hydraulic shuttle according to the internet.

Have you checked hydraulic fluid level?

Does the fluid look clean?

Might want to drain a little bit out and check the condition. This is what I would start with.

Get back to us and we can suggest where to go from there.
