mahindra 3325 running away

This a new to me 3325,,it has been setting for a while,,started messing with it this morning and when it did crank it is running away, big time,,controls will not affect rpm's,,any ideas or suggestions appreciated,, when I first got i, it t wouldnt rev at all but found that I had not voltage to fuel cut-off swicth,,went from one extreme to another

Sounds like the fuel rod in the injector pump may be stuck . I'm just repeating my experience there may be other factors involved.

Im thinking its gonna be something in the injector also,,im gonna take the top off the injector tomorrow and take a look see,,its been setting several years,,prev owner passed and family let it set for a fw years
