My 2014 4530 recently had the PTO lever make a grinding noise and then go completely limp. It was flopping back-and-forth. I knew it was a pretty serious event, the PTO would not engage . I was able to repair it by pulling out the PTO linkage and fishing out the parts from the transmission housing. I took some Pictures of the process since I couldn稚 find any help on any of the forums. It was a broken shear pin in the linkage. I had to loosen and pull away the Rear brake drum to access the Three bolts. After that, the linkage came out, missing the PTO shaft lock. A magnet was able to capture the missing pieces. When putting it back I had to turn the PTO shaft a little by hand to line it all up. Bolted pretty easy after that .
