Mahindra 5155 Anyone?

   / Mahindra 5155 Anyone? #701
Have been plowing snow with my new tractor. 2 degrees this morning, tractor is in the barn cellar(no heat) and started no problem. The loader up and down takes a few minutes to thaw and start working, but the curl takes longer. I have not looked, to darn cold, but is there a place I can get the heat gun on the valve? I am sure there is moisture, just like the remotes.

We have a 3 point wood spitter that uses the tractor hydraulics and you have to lock the remote lever in the on position. Old tractor had an actual lock, but I don't see anything on the 5155 and didn't see anything in the owners manual. Bungee cord???? or am I missing something? There might be a detent on the control lever.

I like the tractor and it is stout! Has a bigger bucket and I liked that this morning. I had to bucket drifted snow out of the driveway in several spots. Still find the clutch difficult, have to make sure it is completely depressed or the shuttle will grind. Bad left knee and insulated boots don't help. It may be using a little more fuel than the 47 hp Mitsubishi, judging by the fuel gauge.

How do I add new tractor to my profile?

Tractor got here this morning, drove it around and everything seems to work. It is bigger than I thought it would be and barely fits in our barn cellar door. I got the back blade off the old tractor and son I put it on the 5155 this afternoon in the cold and wind. Yep, the Roll bar is a brute, but we struggled and got it in the parallel position. Has to be there to get in door for winter. PROBLEM I don't believe the remotes have even been used. Went to hook them up and one female won't accept the male fitting. One works just as it is supposed to but the other one you can't get the male into it far enough for the detent balls to engage. It is definitely that female fitting because both males will work in the other female. Is there a fix short of a new fitting?
Yea, the ROPS was a couple inches to high for my 8' garage door. Discovered that by impacting the frame the first time. Have since cut about 6" out of the top part of the ROPS and it now fits fine. See pic. Has been cleaned and painted after pic.
