Re: Mahindra owners. Little help here please. Not just Mahindra.

Electrical problems happen to all brands.

Neighbors one year old Kubota SV-95-2 should be pushing snow. It is dead it it's tracks waiting for the Kubota Tech, blocking his driveway. I plowed a path thru the back so his family could get out thru my driveway and cleared in front of his machine for the service truck.

I sure like my soft cab. it was 20F this AM and windy.

I was not cold.

You know, I guess it does. But it sure seems to be few and far between when newer. I’ve never had an electrical problem with a newer model tractor. (By that I mean, oh let’s say 1980 through today. Until this one.) And the even older ones were so simple there was almost nothing that could go wrong. LOL And if it did it wasn’t usually hard to fix.

Nice set up you have there!

Can anyone help me identify this bolt? I found it on the ground on stone drive outside my barn just before it snowed. We walk this drive a lot between the house and the barn. And my wife and I hadn稚 seen it. Then just saw it late Monday afternoon and picked it up. Luckily, before it snowed.

It looks eerily similar to the bolts that fell out of my tractor a while back when I had the steering problem.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't think it's a steering cylinder bolt. At least on mine, they used a different style, with the washer built into the head. I took a quick look around mine and the only places they used a bolt/flat washer/lock washer setup is on the loader/ROP framework. That looks like a 17mm head? Maybe 19? I would search your loader, ROP and backhoe frames for that missing bolt. After a busy day with the tree puller on the loader, I usually have to snug up some loader frame bolts. Good luck with your hunting.

Being a diesel mechanic who has seen old trucks and new trucks. Most things go like this:
New equipment tends to have all sorts of issues right out of the gate (if they have them that is). Say for the first year or two. Once it’s all shaken down they go many many years and miles with very little work needed.
Then you start getting one thing after another failing. Typically components, then it gets quite for a bit then it starts to nickel and dime you to death. Again I’m sorry yours was one with issues but hopefully there shaken out of her and it becomes the workhorse it should be.

Looks like a subframe bolt to me also... check were the loader frame meets the grill guard to the tractor frame

Tractor has been running/working great since electrical problem fixed by local mechanic.

Glad to hear! I think things will continue to improve as the company grows and gets more feedback. :tractor:

Still don’t have my new backhoe bucket. Been three weeks since Corporate told me it was approved under warranty. I had to have my neighbor weld the old up so I could get back to work with the hoe. UGH!

Hmmm that sucks. You'd think the dealer would have an order placed as soon it's approved. It's a stock item of Bradco.

A good weld fixes anything! You have a good neighbor. Id weld it for you if you were my neighbor also haha.

Put mine to work today!

Still no backhoe bucket. After over three weeks, I guess, I had to pay my neighbor to fix the one I had so I could get back to work. Good thing I did. Been almost eight weeks now. They still haven’t shipped it yet. Just went to dealer today. Just shook my head and walked out. Asked them if they could give me something they had in stock. Different size? Since I paid to have this one fixed? They just balked and gave me the “well, next big load should be coming maybe it will be on that one.” LOL Just unbelievable.

After complaining, again, they finally got my new backhoe bucket in under warranty. Picked it up, brought it home on the pallet all wrapped in shrink wrap so it wouldn’t move. Cut the shrink wrap off and it’s the wrong bucket for my backhoe. I give up. Returned the bucket and left.

I'm sorry to read of your woes. Only 98% of Mahindra owners would recommend one to a friend. Too bad you fell into the 2% category. Battling with incompetence can be very frustrating.

If it weren't for bad luck, you'd have no luck at all......

I think the manager at the closest store ordered it. He probably ordered a 2’ bucket for a Mahindra 3550 Tractor. Now they sell the 3550 with the 65B backhoe. They use to sell it with the 75B backhoe, and that is what I bought with mine. Ugh.

A while back I told the nice, helpful customer representative at Mahindra corporate that I paid to have this bucket fixed. And it would be a lot easier to supplement the quick attach plate they have sitting at the local store for my tractor, because Mahindra denied warranty on it. I got no response from that suggestion. They are about the same price. And it’s sitting right there. Save on shipping. Oh well.

The customer care representative e-mailed me back and said go to that dealership and pick up the Q/A plate. That she had the switching of the Q/A plate and the bucket approved! Yes!

On a day off so I picked it up and swapped them out already.

Great job! That is what customer care is about.

Thank you Brenda! YOU have been excellent through all of the issues I have had with my tractor.
