Good luck in your decision. I have a 4110 with the matching FEL that I use for general light duty on 65 acs. I have really liked this tractor fairly comfortable, smooth and as others have said I feel it is very fuel efficent. I have the Industrial tires which are easier on the turf. I believe the 3510 is a 3 cyl, and the 4110 is 4 cyl which may be a consideration.

What tire style and size do you have on youe 4110?
I am thinking of going with the R-1's.

my neighbor has had a 4000 series mahindra ( can't for the life of me remember which model) for 3 years and he said he's not had any problems.

according to the dealer, he's never had any trouble w/ parts availability. for what it's worth, he sells a lot of tractors and reports few problems.

my local dealer is taking a 3510 w/ FEL, r4s, w/ less than 250 hours, in on a trade next week that i'm seriously interested in. he said the price should be btwn 12,500 and 13,000. seems like a good deal assuming it's in good shape.

Sounds like a good deal. I just got back from checking out a new 3510 at my local dealer. Very nice tractor, but the price was way too high compared to what others are getting them for. Good luck.

I've got a 4110 w/ industrials (R4). They're easier on the lawn and they float a little better in soft ground. Plus I like the way they look. I've got 350 hrs on the tractor and If I would buy one again. I recently need parts and was able to get them overnight.

I was looking at the 4110 reveiws on Compact Tractor reveiws last night and one complaint was the slow loader operation has anyone had this problem?
Other than that there wre no other minus's.
Thanks Jeff

Hi Jeff - Just looked at those 4 reviews for the first time. Based on posting date and claimed years of use, it looks like they are all 2004's (+/-) like mine. Funny... I never felt that way about FEL speed with my 2004... although I'll admit that I never use it in a big hurry and have no other tractor around that's equal in size to compare it to. It's just about right for me... but I'll let others address that point. I can tell you that the hydraulic flow spec has been pushed up on newer models... 2006's and 2007's I believe. Check it out.

I do agree (with those reviews) that the stock FEL bucket is too light duty for a tractor and loader of that size and capability. I bought a new 78" KMW-made heavy-duty bucket for mine... admittedly, probably a little wide for most of my usual uses... and am currently reinforcing my old 72" bucket, adding top reinforcement, three hooks, bottom reinforcement, a new hardened cutting edge and probably will be adding some serious teeth soon as well. By the time I am done it will be a VERY serious digging bucket. :)

Thanks that's the info I was looking for.
I am going to look at a 4110 tomorrow and get some prices.

Definitely try out the FEL (and everything else!) while you are there. Have some fun with it! In the end, only you can decide if the FEL works fast enough for your taste and needs! :) Be sure to pay attention to the RPMs while doing do. Don't expect top speed at idle. Kick it up a bit with the foot throttle as you would likely do in "real world" situations. :)

I agree you can not expect the loader to perform very well at idle.
I'm going to try the 4110 and 3510. Hopefully they will have both on the lot.
Just need to decide on R-1's or R-4's.
Thanks Jeff
