Anyone know if this light plugs into a harness somewhere on the 3016? How is it switched or does it go on when you put the front lights on?

On my 4035 the rear work light is controlled by a switch separate from the other lights. I don't think the 3016 has a rear worklight.

I am not a100% sure, but I believe there is a pig tail in the rear to plug it in and the light itself has a switch on it.

That's the way my Kioti works.

Go with LEDs if you want some serious light. The first picture is the normal front lights. The second is a pair of Rigid Dually Floods. The part in front of the hood is a snow blower that you can just see the top of. For the rear, one Rigid diffused covers a very wide area. The problem with LED lights is that once you start, they end up on all of your stuff. I have one on my Exmark for mowing, a pair on our golf cart, several pairs on the Jeep....I'm light rich and dollar poor!

oof those are nice Dave. That rear light if I got it would put the front lights to shame. Is there a plug and play situation for the rear light or does it have to be wired in with tape and shrink tube and solder etc ? I figure there must be a wire or two going back on the 3016 tractor. I also like that rear scraper blade. I think the 6' one I have now may be too narrow when angled with the ags kicked all the way out. Of course that's saying that the 3016 could even handle a 7' rear scraper blade with 17" mod board. (I like the higher mold board for snow as it piles over the 13" I currently possess)

Good question on the wiring. We always go to the battery and run a fresh wire with fuse and switch, or on the higher amps lights with a fuse, switch and relay. We should do some research and figure out if there is an existing wire that would work with a switched light. In the past we have had issues with tapping into an existing wire, so we sort of made a rule that all new lighting gets its own circuit. If you order a Rigid light from anyone, it has long wires, a fuse and a switch, so it is a matter of routing the wire and generally you do not have to do any splicing. If so, we solder and shrink tube as you mentioned.

I couldn't use the low amperage lead above the PTO so I tapped into the tail light; I mounted the light onto a existing 3/8" hole on the cross member next to the triangle. The headlight-on power comes up right under the fender; it had enough amperage for the work-light I mounted, I ran a toggle switch into the back of the work-light..

Dave, it will be a while before I can buy those neat work-lights from you.

Thanks Trask. I take it there must be another "light" configuration for this tractor as both rear fenders have a "scoop out". Mahindra has a light kit for this rear work light (don't know why they just didn't mount one from the factory in the first place) that I'm thinking must be a plug and play situation. My dealer states its expensive but I do not know what that means. He is unwilling to "throw " it in as he said there is just no more room in my deal. He did take 3 grand off the tractor and gave me 7K for my 28 year old JD so I believe him. If its 80 or 90 dollars, that's almost what the Dave's led's cost and if I'm going to spend that kind of money I might as well go with the led's or at least the $50 ones from Northern Tool.

It seems I'm going to have to make a couple of protection straps for those amber flashers. They'll get ripped off in about two minutes in my woods. I like the way you mounted your chainsaw shelf and if you would be so kind would appreciate a pic of the mounting detail.

Nice lights! I assumed you sell them. Daves Tractor, I went to your website but could not find. I have a cab tractor and the lights are weak at best, better than nothing, but weak. Where can I find them on your site?
