thanks for trying wallace but it still wont start, and the closest dealer only offered me $12,500 and he wanted me to pay more for the 3510 because he had to come pick up my broken tractor and fix it. sorry to have to say this but is walmart the only company to actually give complete costumer satisfaction. mahindra usa in tomball texas wont even return my calls, faxes, emails or mailings. this is bull. and to top it off my dealer who isn't one anymore still is a no show.

What a sham, I mean shame! It's almost as though Mahindra doesn't care. I too have received no response on my problems. I did deliver my tractor today, actually my dad did, and the dealer said the starter is out again. He had no clue what was up with the hydraulics. As soon as I get that puppy back I'm gonna put the 4 sale signs on it and advertise. It is a shame because when the Mahindra would start it did a good job. As I told people it performs well when it starts!

im with you, but i dont think that i should take a beating. the only way i see out is a trade in. that way i wont get totally ripped off. if mahindra would stand up and do the right thing they would have a satisfied mahindra owner its that simple.

Guys if you are not getting a response, contact the Mahindra Exexutive who monitors this forum. I have seen him take care of problems very quickly. He can make it happen. His username is musa_marketing. I emailed him about your issues.

Justin, Send me a private message with your address, phone#
or call me at 585-343-0770 during the day, and I will get someone from Mahindra moving to get your problem repaired. The 2810 tractor has been a very problem free tractor by my experience and I am sure that your problem can be repaired and it will give you many years of good service.

Thanks for your offer to help! However I have delivered my tractor to the dealer and I expect he will replace the starter for the 3rd time and figure out what's wrong with the hydraulics. What upset me the most is the fact that I spent over $40,000 with this dealer last year and I waited 3 weeks on him to come and pick up my tractor. I say pick up since he refused to come to my farm to service or do warranty work after we specifically discussed this at the time of purchase. I never heard anything from the dealer so after 3 weeks I just had my dad take the tractor to the dealer. This is the second time I've waited a substantial amount of time to have my tractor worked on. The first time was when the starter went out last summer and I waited about 2 months on him to come put a starter on. I'm sure I will lose money on my 6000, but I can assure you that if I can come out any where near a 6 to 7000$ loss I will rid myself of the problem. The damage is done on my end. Lots of people have asked me how I like Mahindra and I have been happy to tell them that you could not run fast enough to sell me another one. Between myself and my neighbor who bought a new 7520 and had problems which the dealer did not want to resolve before he traded with the deere dealer I'm sure we have cost Mahindra and the dealer in our market area.

Grizzman - I agree that this should be referred to MUSA. I haven't seen MUSA lately responding to these problems. Is he still around or just on vacation? I posed this same question a week ago in this forum.

my local area mahindra rep has got a hold of me, however we are not in total agrement. he believes i should purchase a different tractor due to my problems, however he isnt offering much support. to be honest he will only give me 500 dollars toward the trade for my problems. he says that will make up for what the dealer is dinging me for the problem tractor.

Justin - At least you have Mahindra's attention now and they admitted that you at least deserve a financial consideration. For all of the problems you have had - you deserve more trade-in value. Only you have an idea of how much. If they would give you the same model tractor you had(brand new) - I'd say it should be a no money deal. If you really have your heart set on trading up - that is a little different. It might tell the rep that you didn't buy the right tractor for your needs originally and now you are trying to make them eat your mistake. I'm just trying to tell you how your intentions or actions might be misinterpreted. Stay calm with the rep, if you have documented all of your expenses and problems so far trying to get this fixed - his $500.00 offer is only a start and a counter offer could at least be tried. If you get nasty, that is their best and legal excuse to walk away from the bargaining table.

Best of luck to you Justin - Clyde

its not the trading up im interested in, expecially for the extra cost. i loved the 2810 when it ran. but it has not run for a month now. the 28 has enough power for me, however they no longer make it. thats all.

MUSA_Marketing,

Good to see you back on the board. Hopefully you can quickly get to the bottom of these guys' problems and help them to a resolution everyone can be happy with.

Justinbechard,

You may not know this but all states have a lemon law policy that not only covers autos but a myriad of large ticket consumer purchases i.e. (rv's, boats, trucks, home appliances, farm equipment ect... You have to jump through some hoops and give the manufacturer written notice and several attempts to correct but you will get almost a full refund less the hours of use (pro rate) if the problem isn't rectified within a reasonable time, usually 3 to 4 attempted repair visits for the same issue.

At the very least you will scare the crap out of the Mfg. and get some due attention. I promise.

DON'T TAKE IT!!! YOU DON'T HAVE TOO!!!

Hope that empowers you. Good luck.
