my local area mahindra rep has got a hold of me, however we are not in total agrement. he believes i should purchase a different tractor due to my problems, however he isnt offering much support. to be honest he will only give me 500 dollars toward the trade for my problems. he says that will make up for what the dealer is dinging me for the problem tractor.

Justin - At least you have Mahindra's attention now and they admitted that you at least deserve a financial consideration. For all of the problems you have had - you deserve more trade-in value. Only you have an idea of how much. If they would give you the same model tractor you had(brand new) - I'd say it should be a no money deal. If you really have your heart set on trading up - that is a little different. It might tell the rep that you didn't buy the right tractor for your needs originally and now you are trying to make them eat your mistake. I'm just trying to tell you how your intentions or actions might be misinterpreted. Stay calm with the rep, if you have documented all of your expenses and problems so far trying to get this fixed - his $500.00 offer is only a start and a counter offer could at least be tried. If you get nasty, that is their best and legal excuse to walk away from the bargaining table.

Best of luck to you Justin - Clyde

its not the trading up im interested in, expecially for the extra cost. i loved the 2810 when it ran. but it has not run for a month now. the 28 has enough power for me, however they no longer make it. thats all.

MUSA_Marketing,

Good to see you back on the board. Hopefully you can quickly get to the bottom of these guys' problems and help them to a resolution everyone can be happy with.

Justinbechard,

You may not know this but all states have a lemon law policy that not only covers autos but a myriad of large ticket consumer purchases i.e. (rv's, boats, trucks, home appliances, farm equipment ect... You have to jump through some hoops and give the manufacturer written notice and several attempts to correct but you will get almost a full refund less the hours of use (pro rate) if the problem isn't rectified within a reasonable time, usually 3 to 4 attempted repair visits for the same issue.

At the very least you will scare the crap out of the Mfg. and get some due attention. I promise.

DON'T TAKE IT!!! YOU DON'T HAVE TOO!!!

Hope that empowers you. Good luck.
