Mahinrda parts availability

Gee, I could probably go to a Farmall shop and just about buy enough parts to build a new one. My Super C has to be 60 years old. Down the road will the Mahindra, and others, be like some 6 year "old " computer; works fine but cant get a special plug that broke. Have to pitch it.

Super C's started to be buillt in '51 so its no more than 55 or so years old. Sorry....! However, Mahindra's built by Mahindra in India are "old school" like the Super C. Hardly any plastic and lots of cast iron/forged steel. My 6000 isn't buiilt like a tank....it is. I'm not worried in the least....BobG in VA

My father in law went to a local Mahindra dealer to get an oil filter for his 2810 HST on Friday and they didn't have it in stock. They said the could have it in 3 days. He then went to the dealer he bought the tractor from and they had the filter in stock.

I'm leaning towards a 2815HST. I just hope Mahindra keeps the 2815 around for awhile. I figure the more they sell, the better parts support will be for that particular tractor.

The 2815 is a new model just introduced and we anticiapte it being around for quite awhile.

As far as parts go, our dealers' statements are what matters. We have a nearly 99% fill rate on parts orders.

If you will look back in the dicussion index, I posted Sunday Evening about loosing a plug on the back of my 3015HST. It looks like a freeze plug on a motor and is located just above the PTO shaft.
Monday morning I went to my dealer. Got there about 10:30 am EDT. Dealer said he did not have it in stock. But it was covered. He is like everybody's dealer here, about 40 miles from my house. Asked if he could have it overnighted to my home. It arrived at 11:45am and I'm still a happy Mahindra owner.
A Deere dealer might have done that for one of those huge farms.

Like others, I have alternative sources, TYM and Kioti. That said, I don't "expect" to need them. I'll keep the respect that my dealer has earned unless / until there's a reason not to.

I do know it will be hard to get the Mid-Mount Decks and parts for it right now from your Mahindra delaer. Mahindra quit ordering these decks from us, and we have had customers and dealers call and complained about this to us.

Good news is if you are needing parts or decks for your customers we will still take care of the dealer, and they can contact us for parts. If your Mahindra dealer tells you he cannot get parts or decks, he might not have heard they can order directly from the manufacture, so tell them to contact us directly. If they will not, then you can call us, but do not by-pass the dealer please.
