I just finished blowing my drive a while ago... another exercise in minute control of the lift to avoid flinging rocks.
Mostly successful.:ashamed:
Lottsa slow, tiring work; blower could handle the volume OK, but I had to go slowly and constantly adjust the height up & down, listening for the noise of gravel in the blower....

I'm hoping it'll melt off fast, and the weather reports seem to support this.:thumbsup:
And to think, the driveway was all clear down to the gravel-- I was just about to get a cycle out!
I am DEFINITELY going to copy amkfken's design for the dolly wheels under the blower,
real soon! (see "2650 blower Mod for Gravel Drives")
At least I feel that my blower did a better job than a plow would have, as far as keeping the gravel on the drive...

I'll bet some folks' driveways have probably been peeled right onto their lawns by plow trucks; ouch!
Meanwhile, it's snowing again- but it looks like we didn't get nearly as much as central Maine (maybe 8" here)- I feel for you guys, it was bad enough here!
