MAKA please

Hi. Can i buy the exhaust mod from you direct. I have a 300 DTC and would like to re direct the exhaust. I read somewhere in a post that a kit was available,would rather get from you,my dealer is too flaky.Still waiting for my owners manual,been a month now.
Also both my boom cylinders are leaking pretty good at 26 hours and my dealer says he can only ship me seals,i'm 4 hours away but I woud prefer cylinder/exchange. Do I send him the labor bill as well.Fat chance on that getting paid.Can Could I get your thoughts on this matter,I know your on the up and up.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in here till MAKA has a chance to respond. The 300DTC, although a similar tractor to the Montana, uses a different front end loader so you should contact Farmtrac and see if they can help you with replacement cylinders.

As far as the exhaust modification, it is only on the 4540 Montana tractors with the Ansung loaders, not the 3040 that is the same as your 300DTC.

Again, if you think you are having an exhaust related issue causing loader problems, you will need to contact Farmtrac, or a different Farmtrac dealer.

If your dealer can't, or doesn't seem willing to help you, I'm sure Farmtrac will do something to make the situation right for you.

Hello Bones. Montana man is correct in his post. The mod is for the 4540 only and is a different configuration than your machine. I do wish I could be of assistance. I have some friends that are Farmtrac dealers and would be happy to refer you to them if you will PM me. I am sure they would be happy to give you assistance.

If you have a FarmTrac 300DTC there have been no reported problems, the exhaust is well away from the loader cylinders...could you provide a picture maybe?
