Here are some tractor action shots I took on my last trip back home. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

These are some shots I got of my Dad baling hay while his friend is raking. Don't normally see pastures this green at the end of July in Texas. With all the rain this year there is a bumper crop of hay too.

As someone who has never seen a hay field being baled, I appreciate those pictures very much. Thank you.

If only the smell of fresh cut drying hay could be sent !!!!! That would really complete the picture.

There is one field I pass on the way to work that has so many round bales per acre that it looks like someone spilled a whole bag of giant brown marshmallows. There must be around nine bales per acre on this place and the grass is growing so fast they'll need to bale it again by the time they get all the round bales out of the field. There should be a lot of $20 per bale hay for sale this year.

Great pictures. Thanks for posting them. Seeing them reminds me of when I was a little kid on my PaPaw's farm riding with him while baling hay. Such great memories!
