I make a lot of tractor related videos but the problem is mounting my camera(s) on the tractor. I came up with this magnetic camera mount idea that I now use to mount my GoPro cameras. The video was taken using 2 of the homemade magnetic mounts - one on the ROPS and one on the snowed-in car.

FANTASTIC job!!! I had a Gopro but ......well lets just say now I don't! I used mine on the sled and the Kayak. That is a nifty mount and will have to remember this for the next one. Where did you get the magnets and cups?

Thanks I got the magnets and cups from Lee Valley. Just search "magnets" at leevalley.com and you should find them.

A local tool supply sells 3" magnets that come attached to trays to collect small parts.
I have mounted my work lights on the magnets so that I have infinite adjustment possibilities.
I also mounted a 4" computer fan on one that allows me to swivel in any direction to defog my window or blow heat on any cold body parts. In the summer it moves the air in the cab and also keeps out the bugs.

The trays are often on sale for $1-2. Also real handy clamped onto the drill press to hold bits and the chuck key.

You have a nice variety of applications for those trays - you can usually get them at Princess Auto here in Canada
