I saw a homemade lift that had a hay wagon running gear as a base and a 7 x 12 platform. It had an electronic motor hooked to a battery. The frame just unfolded and went up about 15'. I know this is not what you are looking for but they someone might be interested.

I had to get up on the roof to check a suspected leak around the chimney. I wrapped some towels around the ends of my 32' ext ladder and lifted it up to the roof. I put it in the end loader and slowly moved forward as it slid up to where I needed it. I was able to get to all sides of the chimney that way. It was very sturdy and worked great.

I built one a couple of days ago for my Titan bolt-on pallet forks. I used two 4 foot 4x4s that fit just outside the forks and made the deck out of five foot 2x6s. I made a rail for three sides out of 4 foot 4x4s for the posts and 2x6s for the rails. By leaving one side open I can reverse it and use it for hauling large items. Today I installed a security light for my sister-in-law and spent quite a lot of time on my platform. It worked exactly as I'd hoped. I read that positioning platforms is difficult but if you get it to the height you want and get it level you just have to slowly move the tractor into the correct position. Of course I have to use a ladder to gain access to the platform but once I'm on it I feel very secure and I can lift all the tools I need at one time.View attachment 421161

I picked up two IBC totes today- a 275 gallon one and a 330 version. The fellow also gave me 4 of the metal pallet-type bottoms as he only uses the tanks themselves for raising Tilapia fish. I'll post up picks once I rig up one as a man-lift. I'm gonna use the other as a water tote to take water to my south pasture.

As a structural engineer, I can't help but to comment on this design. I see serious structural problems. Holding a ladder from the bottom subjects the side rails to much higher bending stress than using the ladder normally. There is no way to know if any particular ladder can withstand this type of use for which it is not designed. In the video, the maker explain how it swings side to side to extend your reach. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
The advertising reference to OSHA certified techniques doesn't mean anything. This merely states you use a a safety harness and hold the ladder at a recommended angle. Unless the Monkeyrack has an OSHA weight rating, you are on your own!

I would enjoy seeing the success of an innovative design by a small company. Unfortunately, this one looks like a disaster waiting to happen.

We just got a tractor hence new to the Tractors & to this forum. Can you guys please tell me, how can i Mount this MONKEY rack to my Tractor? any help or link would be greatful.

I am from India & we do not get it readily made here.
