So lets get this straight. A guy is walking to work because his car broke down a few weeks ago (shows integrity) in the dark through an apartment complex in a populated area and gets attacked by three coyotes, mauled pretty badly, and you guys call him a moron. Even if he was armed on his way to work he'd probably get fired when he got there because most companies have a no firearms/knives on company property policy. Some states allow you to keep your firearm locked in your car at your employer's parking lot, but he didn't have a car, now did he? I really wonder how many of you could draw and fire with three coyotes chewing your limbs in the dark. Or would you just start blasting away in an apartment complex at the first strange noise you heard? Good grief fellas, think about what you say before you say it.
Well stated. The guy was walking to work, he didn't call in with some excuse. He has a family and a job, seems upstanding to me. He ran into some wild animals and they reacted. That's why they call them wild animals. We keep pushing into animal's territory and then act surprised when this happens. People need to secure their garbage, not leave pet food out, pick up fruit from trees and rethink having outside cats so as not to attract wild animals.
