That is funny. They do know where they are, BUT they can't always tell you how to get there in a way that YOU can get there.

I gave up on Map quest after I printed out a map and directions for a trip to Ohio. After driving in circles for 20 minutes I realized that the directions were completely reversed /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

That's sorta like coming home from your vacation before you left. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Einstein would have been interested in that.

LOL, no it was much more unpleasant than that. You know lots of hand waving and crazy driving interspersed with advanced creative expressions ! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Wonder if it's an Ohio thing /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I used Yahoo maps to get to a funeral out of town. The family was staying in St. Clairsville at the hotel, so we stayed there as well. The funeral was in God-knows-what little town. I printed out a route at home before we left. Supossed to be a 20 mile trip. The last road on the map was called Rogers Ln. After what seemed like miles uphill on the gravel one lane road, we came to Rogers HOUSE
We were in his driveway staring at his barking dog beside the truck /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Try finding an up to date map of Boston /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I had both print outs from map quest and was using Street atlas with an Earthmate GPS and still some of the roads were dead ends and one ways...Talk about the long way around the short route /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I use map quest to give me estimated times when making plans to go from air ports to job sites and hotel. The times are usually accurate to about 30 min.+\-.
It's just quicker and less PC hogging than running Delorme when in the Office.
But I to am none to fond of the new look and features of mapquest. I then use Delorme Street Altlas and GPS once I get in the rental car.

Yahoo ain't bad either I started using Mapquest and kind hang there... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
