If you're so keen on the subject how does the mj data compare to the positive opioid results?

All I said was your link tells the obvious, I don't waste my time looking at opioid data. it's a big problem, everyone knows this genius.

there was a companion article about problem in states legalizing MJ that then have potential employees that can't pass
entry test, when they could be stone sober on Monday morning, and every Monday morning. When does this get into the rights of individuals to enjoy their weekends? Sure need better tests here, and they have to be very inexpensive to administer or this will never work.

And I note in the article my friend the fork lift operator is now being considered for perhaps some extra slack. Really? Off the job maybe...

So a person applies for a job, gets and interview for a job, gets called for a screening test and fails the test. Brilliant. One would think that the person would have the foresight to stop drugging while pursuing a job.

I'm biased as I was in the position to hire and frankly, I grew tired of failed tests and people not committed to finding work. If they were committed, they would stop drugging!

My brother smoked ALOT. He put in for a job he wanted so he quit for a while. They kinda him-hawed around and drug their feet, so he lost hope and started smoking again. Then they called and said your hired, go to xyz and take a drug test 3 days from now at 11am. So he quit smoking and drank water for 2 days. Then he went to xyz's location across town at 8am and paid out of pocket for a drug test. He passed, so he went and took the employment test later that day.

I was kinda impressed when he told me about that!

I agree with you completely, if they were using recreational MJ. My concern is the use of CBD products that can cause false positives on tests and have everything to do with medicine and nothing to do with safety or job performance. Would you ask a guy to stop using his asthma inhaler also? Any other drugs he has to take for health?

We "drug" when we take a cup of coffee or anyone lights up a cigarette. It's all self medicating with drugs of some kind.
My coffee pot just dinged, time to go...;)

Sober at work. I think we can all agree on that.

Got to admit, I would need rehab if coffee became illegal . As far as drugs at the workplace, we had a zero tolerance for any non-prescription drugs.
