Mark Hodge bars??

Good info. Thanks.

UPDATE AN HOUR LATER: I sent an email to Mark and got a response within the hour. He quoted me a price but said he probably couldn't make them until fall. I accepted that, given the comments that have been made here and on other forums about his product. I asked him to add me to his list.

I'm very pleased that I'll be getting a set of these, even if it's down the road a bit. Thanks again for the info.

I know this is a very old thread, but i`m wondering if you ever got your stabilizers from Mark Hodge or not.
I sent Mark an email last night, hoping to hear something soon. If not, i`ll go somewhere else to buy them.
There are other people making these now, and their product looks just as good as Mark`s stabilizers do.

First bought a pair of eBay to fit a M series Kubota. Had to grind some of the parts for clearance to fit M59 but worked well. Bought another pair for the B26. Had to modify by cutting down and welding tabs to fit. So much easier to operate and stronger than turnbuckles. Try Kubota, Weavers tractor supply, agri-supply or eBay. Got the gear leveling box side link for the B26 from Weavers to replace another turnbuckle.

Mark Hodge got ahold of me today. He is still building stabilizers, but he wont have a set done for my BX until next summer. (WHAAAA...????) :duh:
Says he can put me on the "waiting list" and when he gets ready to build them, he`ll contact me again just before he starts to build them. He gets $190 (shipping included) for the BX set.

I know Mark`s work is good, but to wait this long, i just can`t. I`m going to have to find another source. Or i may just end up building a set on my own.
I found another place that makes them identical to Mark`s stabilizers, but when you look at the weld job on each end, looks like bird poo welding. I`m sure they wont hold up for very long.

I didnt think you could use B series stabilizers on a BX series sub compact tractor.
The set we got from Mark for our B7500 is similar in length to the ones on our BX2660.
Per: https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums.../212135-pics-my-bx-telescopic-stabilizer.html and https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/134712-3-point-stabilizers.html they should work as-is, if it's too long, the inner part of the Kubota ones is supposed to be just flatstock, so you could cut both pieces shorter and drill a new home in the inner part.

OHHHHHHHH, i gotcha`now. I didnt realize you could do that. THANK YOU! I`m going to look into a set.
I tried looking at the other link on the subject, but the pics are mostly blocked, and being that i`m new to kubota, and i`m old, i`ve got alot against me right of the start line...lol

Old thread, but I felt the same way last fall. I got on the list anyway and just received mine the other day. They were absolutely worth the wait. They're beefy and a breeze to install. I had the luxury of leaving my snowblower on all winter so I didn't need to change implements. I also didn't want to reward Kubota by buying their replacement parts for their poorly executed turnbuckle system.

I used to dread implement changes. After putting on Mark's stabilizers and reattaching my snowblower I'm excited to switch implements out in the future.

Sorry I missed this. I did receive the Hodge bars about four months after I ordered them. They did NOT disappoint. As to whether or not they're worth the wait, that would be the buyer's decision.
