Massey 1020 alternator

I have a massey 1020 with with a 6 wire (red,yellow,green,black, blue and blue)voltage regulator pn-RS5104 and a 2 wire alternator pn-GP9153. The 2 blue wires on the voltage regulator connect to the 2 wire alternator. Does anyone know if those 2 wires must connect to a specific wire on the alternator?

I have a Massey Ferguson 1010. It's probably very similar to your 1020 in many ways and probably shares many parts. I have a manual that I think contains a wiring diagram or schematic that I can check later today and will see if it helps.

The MF1010 Wiring Diagram shows the 2 Blue wires going to the alternator, each connected to opposite ends of a coil in the alternator. There is no indication on the diagram other than that the 2 blue wires connect to the alternator. HTH. C;lem
