Is this the same for the 1735M?
I am not sure on that but a quick call to the dealer can answer that, if you want to call my guy, Butler Ag in Freemont Nebraska. Ask for Tom in parts.
He and his brother owned Johnson Farm Equipment, 2 locations and mulit generational, they agreed to stay on board for a number of years when they sold to Butler about 8 years ago.. Galen was in sales and has since retired.

Dealer price for MF oil filter was $42.59, which of course Massey gets one of the filter Mfgr’s to make for them in a generic non traceable - No number black. I’d bet dollar to donuts it’s probably one of the cheaper ones at that.

So here are some hard to obtain MF part numbers so you can xref to your brand choice.
Oil Filter: 7064608M91
Hyd oil filter: 6255330M2
Fuel filters: 7102101M91 2nd one is: 7102041M91

I went with the WIX 57000 for my oil filter. Do the research, Wix doesn’t shortcut on materials and always rank close to or at the top of all test reviews.

For an economical choice, or for somebody doing frequent changes I suggest the Fram PH3614
My local Walmart has these in stock for $3.88 and probably (seriously) close In quality to the generic OEM filter.

Hope this info helps my fellow DIYers
Just to follow up on my own post….

On the fuel filters, I used the WIX 33138 Fuel Filters. It’s plural, as you’ll need two and they seem identical (the one lower or next to the step (w the primer/pump), and the one on the engine itself which would be the 2nd inline of filters.

I did the step filter first, filled w diesel before screw-in/on, then used primer pump to complete. Worked perfectly, just a faint off-skip and went on running smoothly. No hard bleeding required.

The engine filter has a shutoff valve, also has the same water separator on the bottom of filter. I suggest a pre fill on that one also. I then went back and used the lower filters primer/pump. Worked again with no air or bleeding issues.

It’s pretty easy, once you do one, you’ll wonder why you didn’t do this project sooner. :)
