Massey Ferguson 3650
Good Morning everyone.

I'm new to this forum and I have a problem with my massey ferguson 3650's transmission. All of sudden, when operating the tractor in the high range, the Transmission oil low pressure warning light flashes on and the transmission jumps into low range. After driving the tractor in low range for awhile, until the oil gets hot, then everything works okay. I changed the filters, but that didn't seem to solve the problem. What do I look for? What do I check?

It sounds like either an electrical problem or a faulty sensor.

When I had that problem trans not shifting from low or moving into low from high it was in the winter when the oil was to thick, when it warmed up it would work, I changed to a Synthetic trans oil then it worked

can't get all power to cab so electrical transmission lights will work to shift from low to high but have power for fan radio etc, already changed 50 amp breaker under dash

Have you checked the hyd fluid level ? I wouldn't go operating the thing a whole lot until I got to the bottom of this problem. Driving it around in low range "until the oil gets hot" is speculative. It may have nothing to do with temperature. I know you don't want to hear this but if you have plenty of hydraulic oil in it, there might well be
a serious problem internal to the hydrostatic transmission.
