Had my 2410 for 4 years now and it has done everything I asked of it and more, its like the swiss army knife of tractors. Easy to maintain, rugged and it does not have toy like feeling compared to the BX. Had the lower radiator hose replaced under recall, oil pan seal was replaced under warranty, shudder was fixed under warranty by replacing drive shaft and thats about it. Leveled out a gravel pad for my new 12 x 20 foot shed. I moved 19-12 yard truck loads of sand and loam, 4-3 yards of crushed gravel, 3-18 yards of gravel-planted 22 trees, filled in several big holes, plowed with it, made roads with it, dug a 200 foot 4 foot deep trench with it (and filled it in), graded with it, moved tons of snow and more-wish it had a larger capacity loader for the light stuff like snow though. This year I am riping out a 13,500 gallon inground steel pool and filling it in plus landscaping the same area. Im also going to finish up a large pond by the wheeping willow. Ive also done tons of work with my neighbors including pushing boulders with it. Easiest 50 bucks I ever made.

My only regret is not buying one when I first got the house-140 hours now.

I am not sure how long MF has been using them, but as I stated in your other thread,Bolens used their engines for years.
This was one of the big deciding factors for me choosing MF ,because of the engine they used in these tractors !!!

The tractor is completely made in Japan but the loader and BH are made in the US (at least mine are).

Here's a review I did when shopping for my tractor:

Ditto! I looked at orange, green and red.

The first was the BX (looked at the 25 and a holdover 24). It seemed ok but not what I had built it up to be in my mind. The tach is useless unless you put your face through the steering wheel. Also the rpm's had to be well over half throttle to work the FEL. The ride was decent and it turned on a dime. It did the typical kubota pop a wheeley when stopping in reverse (high gear). 3pt arms are an option that has to be ordered with the tractor (some dealers will automatically do that though).

The next was the Massey GC2410. As soon as I saw it the BX whatever was completely out of the picture. IMHO just no comparison. The Massey looks and feels bigger. The tractor can lift itself off the ground at idle speed and at full rpm the FEL and BH are nice and quick. The FEL is quick disconnect as is the BH. A nice feature with the BH is that you don't have to remove the 3pt arms when it is installed. They fold up out of the way. The BH is also way more stout than the BX. For me the steering wheel was a bit low (I'm 6'1") and the pedals seemed a bit too high. The speed was faster than the BX but it did not seem to turn as tight but it wasn't bad either.

The last was the JD2305. It was comparable to the Massey. Slightly more comfortable steering wheel and pedal wise. Hydro was nosier than the other two. Also it needed to be above idle in the rpm range to move the FEL but not as high as the BX. I also liked the quick disconnect bucket on the FEL. I did not get a chance to look at one with a BH but I read a review on here that it was not up to par with the Massey construction wise. Another thing that bothered me was the tranny filter was very exposed and the same for the BX. The Massey was the only one with a guard for the filter. Hydraulic lines also hung down and were exposed. The 3pt hitch is a limited category 1.

My new Massey arrives Thursday. It was a little more than the BX or the JD but I also believe it is more tractor. It was smooth and powerful. Nice instruments, standard quick connect FEL and BH. Hopefully it will work out for me. My advice is try them all out. Since it was winter I was able to push around snow in the parking lots of the dealers which really gives you a feel of using the hydro trans and the FEL controls.

Edit: I wanted to add that the Massey was a little more based on the financing option i took. Comparing cash prices the Massey was the cheapest.

Here's a link to the comparison thread I posted it in, may be a good read if you haven't already looked through it:

I've been happy with mine and have only around 80 hours on it. I try to put hours on it but its hard to when it enables you to get everything done so quickly. My only complaints are the 3pt/backhoe hydraulic line routing and finding a way to secure them when using the 3pt hitch and moving the PTO guard when switching from the 3pt to backhoe. For some reason the backhoe sub-frame blocks my access to the bolts that are used to adjust the guard. I have a tendency to bite off more then the tractor can chew in one bite but it has never not completed anything I've done with it. I just have to remind myself that sometimes I can't pick up an entire 90' red oak all at once.

Thanks for the response! The old thread was also very informative...

"… and moving the PTO guard when switching from the 3pt to backhoe…"

Probably illegal or something, but I just removed the rear PTO guard and left it off; got tired of having to loosen/remove bolts, swing it up, then replace later. Hasn't been any problem. I do, however, replace the plastic PTO shaft cover when it's not in use. irvingj

Does Iseki make a cookie cutter version tractyor that looks identical to this MF SCUT?

Any Iseki dealers in U.S.?

The Iseki TXG23 looks similar to the earlier Massey .. the TM series has the same engine but looks different.

I see..looks like they offer a grapple on the FEL...but not a BH unit...

I too looked at many colors. Ended up with the Massey. At 6' 4"/ 230lbs. The last thing I needed was to feel cramped. The Massey seemed to fill the bill for me. I did like the Mahindra, but the price point just wasn't there. Same with JD. I think I got a pretty good deal on the Massey. $25,000 bought me a 2012 GC2410, 2 stage snow blower, 60" finish mower, and a Lands Pride 48" Back blade.

Sorry, getting late, I meant box blade.
