Massey Part Numbers

These are the bushing and castle nut sleeve from my lower arms. These attach the lowers to the axle housing.
Can anyone tell me the part numbers for these parts. There are no aftermarket parts available for these items.
I have to order these originals directly from AGCO

They look like cat2 adapter sleeves that fit onto the stud on the axle.

These are old and very well worn.

You can look them up for yourself pretty easily....Massey posts parts books online. Go to the link, click on the tab to log in as a guest user, select Massey Ferguson as the brand, and then type in the model number. You'll get a breakdown on all the systems:

CD, I think I found what you have in the picture. The bushing is P/N: 1860316M1 and the nut is P/N: 1860317M1.
In AGCO Parts book for MF 135 TRACTOR (GB) - 819535, page 494 for Lift Links, Cat 1 and 2, reference #43 and 44, which you can access online.
186317M1 appears on a German Ebay site and the bushing 186316M1 appears on a British store, Franks Curtis.
Apparently only on British built Massey Fergusons, Cat 1 and 2 links, so very hard to find. Make sure you look for the 135 GB version.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the information. Sorry for being such a nuisance, my parts manual CD has not arrived yet.

It might be easier to get these parts machine by a good machine shop.

My 135 appears to be a British version, and after a few emails to those Ebay sellers I have come up with Part Number 890099M1 A Bush. This is from the British/French Parts manual.

I will do some research from the your information.

Google:Mutter Unterlenker-Bolzen Massey Ferguson MF 35 35X 133 135 140 148 TE20 TEF20 for the 1860317M1. OR Google: Fergy Fan Tractor Parts.
Also, not German, it's Danish.
Google: Franks Curtis for their website then search 1860316M1.
I inadvertently left the 0 out of the part numbers when i gave you the vendors. The part numbers were correct when I gave you them in reference to the parts book. Hope this didn't cause the problem.

AHi Charlie, Any chance of the dimensions of those bushes?

I think your 135's lower arms are Cat 2 tractor end & Cat 1 implement end, with these adapter bushes to allow attaching to Cat 1 mounts on the axle housing. Mine are Cat 1 both ends ( and really worn).

This is where I buy a lot of my aftermarket parts here in Bris - might help.

I will measure the bushes on the weekend. It basically is a CAT1 to CAT adapter bush with a flange on the end. You can basically take a CAT1/CAT2 bush and just use a flat wash against the axle trumpet housing to do the same job. What is different is that the original bush and in particular the castle nut is not a plain Jane castle nut it too has a flange at the back of the nut. I will grab the dimensions for you and post them.

These bushes are not on the Lower Link Arm itself. These bushes are on the Axle link arm pins.
The Links on BEPCO that you gave are the link arm ends that can be welded on the arms.

It would be easier enough job to get a machinist to turn out these bushes. But it would be hard finding the matching castle nut.
The Links that TractorTech has given for searching shows the right castle nut

You can see the nut on the above link. I am surprised that these simple parts are hard so hard to find. Maybe people pull the axle apart in 5 minutes and put new axle pins in for the lower link arm.

You are right my Link pins on the axle are CAT1. My Link arms are CAT2
These bushes adapt the axle link pins from CAT1 to CAT2.
If I wanted to, I could use a standard CAT1/CAT2 bush and use a washer on the end on the axle link arm pin. It achieves the same as this bush and special castle nut.
The washer is just a spacer to stop the link arm from wearing into the axle trumpet housing. The special castle nut on the link acts as a centering nut and bush. Although I am not sure.

Anyway I have more serious jobs to do like fixing the oil leak and replacing the seal which will require splitting the tractor. Its just a drop drip so I may well leave it. Its engine oil not transmission oil dripping out of the cover plate. I was told not to put the cover plate back on so the clutch does not get oil damage. Let it drip I was told.

The alternative is that I change the axle link pin to a CAT2 pin and eliminate the bush which is a big job.
