Max 28 XL Loader Quick Attach?

I still haven't been able to find these forks, except for this picture. Anyone know anything about them? They look like they adjust for different loaders and pin on and also mount to the three point hitch.
I did a google picture matching search and they showed up several places, here is one: Paladin Attachments - Pallet-Forks

Be careful with some of these, concerning weight. Our smaller tractors, although stronger than some others, are still limited in the fel lift capacity. I couldn't find the weight of that paladin forkset but it looks like it might be heavy.

I recently took delivery of these:

Titan 46" Pallet Fork Attachment Skid Steer Quick Attach Mount 26 lb Capacity

229 lbs, not much different than the weight of my bucket, very inexpensive and very well made.

you can read my review on the link.

eta:
oops, sorry, I just noticed you needed a pin on set. The weight issue still applies.

Maybe this would work. A lot less than what your dealer wanted. There are a couple others on the site as well.

Pin On to Skid Steer Quick Attach Adapter w/ Spacer Brackets

then you could get the forks I listed !

I know this is an old post but I’m still looking into building a set of forks for my Max 28. I have a set of forklift forks. I’m thinking I can just build some kind of adjustable bracket to us on the front end loader and three point hitch.

Max 28 has very weak curl cylinders & function. Loader will disappoint you adding Quick Attach unless you upsize cylinders by 10mm.

Max26 has new loader. They took care of the weak curl.

What size and how heavy are the forks?

There are several companies that sell just the frame.

Looks like mine are the class 2, 16” ones. They are smaller.

Yeah, my loader curl is weak. I seen somewhere on here someone upgraded them to bigger cylinders.

Even if I could adapt the forks to mount on the three point hitch would be a help for moving pallets and stuff around.

3pt is very strong, like it will lift a ton.

I upgraded my Max28 FEL to SSQA about a year ago.

I went with the WR Long adapter (WRL-APUM2) and it works well. The downside, as others pointed out, was that I lose some leverage in lift & curl. The pin holes are not ideally placed and could easily move a couple inches further forward if redrilled.

Would I do it again? In a hearbeat. But, I might try a different brand with the hope that the holes would be more ideally placed. But the quality on the WR Long one has been terrific and I'm happy overall.

Replace the curl cylinders. Measurements are in link below. I'd visit the local dealer and measure what cylinder is on the Max26. It has a new loader design. In addition, you can turn up the hydraulics pump relief 10% to 2,200-2300 psi with a .025" thick shim and not hurt anything.

At least there was the counterweight of a backhoe in the above video.

I think the quick attach part from the Max 26 would fit the Max 28 loader. Im not sure about the curl cylinders. I might have to stop at the local dealer and do some measurements. I did price out the Max 26 loader quick attach and it was close to $600. but that was a few years ago.

My backhoe seems a little weak too. I would like to put a pressure gauge on my hydraulics. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I looked up the Max26 loader, haven’t found specs on the cylinders yet. But, the price for each cylinder was over $400.! There is a left and right and have different part numbers. I also looked up the quick attach part and that is now over $800.! The loader frame looks much different than the Max28 loader, not sure if any of it would work on my loader. Now that I have the specs on the Max28 I will look into some aftermarket cylinders. Or just live with it.
