Maximally obnoxious noisy gun.

One of the neatest neatest practical joke/noisemakers that I have ever run across is a three inch by three inch target that you shoot at with a .22 or better gun. When you hit the bull's-eye there is one heck of a kaboom. Whoever pulled the trigger will really be startled. This thing is much louder than a 22, more like a .223 I don't even know if you can get them anymore, but if you can they are great fun.

Not being a gun guy, I recommed getting a topnotch stereo system with a monster subwoofer, aiming it downrange, and playing the last 5 minutes of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.

"down" makes me think of downwind, which is where your neighbor should be when locate the stinkiest item possible, and place it upwind of his residence. Also, get a directional speaker and play revelle, taps, etc for him at a very loud volume. If he hates a certain type of music, play it for him.

Hi ya
i too have shot a 50 cal BMG bolt action 3 shot mag ..what ya need 3 rounds for i don't know the earth moves with one of these even standing behind one is something to write home about ...not a cheep puppy to feed tho bout $10 kiwi per round and ya have to get a good/well made one ,,muzzle brake is a must have and ear plugs +ear muffs do help well set up they make great sniper rifles for those hard to reach places but ya need a cart to carry them around all day. kinda hard to explan what ya shooting one for tho 45-70 ..or bigger ...sharps or rolling block have a deep bark even a old front stuffer my give ya the bang ya want
or a tin of powder with a fuse dug in the ground but i think we are going a bit far .

A friend shoots some kind of rifle that I think uses black powder, possibly hand loaded?

Another friend about a mile away has one of those lawn cannons that doesn't shoot a projectile. I don't know which is louder but they are louder then typical firearms I sometimes hear.

For worst noise? Get an beat up old rotary, RX2 3 RX7, pull the exhaust system off it, Build a box around it with one open end to help funnel the noise in the direction you want.

If you ever hear one of those on a race track you'll know what I mean.

How about opera sent out over PA speakers, followed by some rap music?
