McCormick/Case CX

Hello everyone, I joined some time ago but I don't think I introduced myself then as I should. I live in Ireland where we get lots of rain and the grass is green. Our temperate climate gives us variable weather. Not too cold in winter but we do experience swings from time to time. We had an unusually cold 9 days before Christmas and then back to the usual wet and windy weather since. I have a Leyland 270 (I call it my old hog) Its basically worn out but keeps going. I also have a McCormick CX75 which I purchased to replace my old hog. I spent some time remaking loader brackets to fit onto the tractor but all done now and am happy with the way it turned out. However I have a number of other problems to solve which is why I am on here!

Does anyone know about the 3 point hitch on the McCormick Cx series tractors? It doesn't respond to any of the controls except the up/down switch just about. There is an error code on the rear display showing "A."
