$10K good grief you could buy a used jeep CJ or TJ for thousands less & get a radio, heater and doors for "free". I guess I don't "get" the UTV thing. We bought a property a few years ago and there was a John Deere diesel 6 wheel UTV in a garage so I wrote that into the contract and they accepted. I thought it would be a really handy thing to have until I drove it. The suspension was terrible off road(kidneys and fillings were at risk). On gravel the dust would billow back into the cab area choking you and in the summer the heat coming off the engine was like sitting on top off a furnace. I put it on fleabay and sold it as fast as I could.
I do like the idea of a side by side with a dump bed, but I refuse to pay $8-12K for that luxury.

I recently bought a 1981 cj7 with hardtop and power angle meyers plow for $4500. It has 68k and no rust. I as well do not understand the utv craze. Heat, ac, street legal and $12 dollars to register since it qualifies for antique plates.

God bless ya; a 30 year old "jeep" in this neck of the woods consists of MAYBE 4 wheels, 2 axles/differentials(unless they are model 30's, which have all been used up [read exploded] and possibly the frame rails, and the rest not even recognizable. If you decide you can't use yours, give me a shout

The last TJ I bought was a '97 4 cylinder for $3500. My daughter drove it for 2 years & the only thing it needed was brakes all the way around. I traded it on a Horse trailer 3 years ago, a guy here in town bought it & I see it all around all the time. They are out there but you might just have to fly/buy/drive home

The cj7 has been oiled every year since it has been in New England. I looked for a long time. Using searchtempest for 5 states. I will have a 1966cj5 for sale soon. It is all fiberglass tub and body with a meyers plow. I have a 1100 ft driveway that is steep. I changed jobs and my wife needed power steering and brakes. I really love the cj5, when I was 14 I owned one and it brings back alot of memories. I do like the mechtron and the price is agreeable compared to others.

The guys up here often buy small SUV's or jeeps but to me they tear up the ground too much. A UTV would be less nasty on the land.

That is a direct mail/coupon program only to a select # of Kioti owners. Is probably not on website. Cannot take if no coupon, but if you price one at your dealer he may not be too far off maybe 2-300 using a different rebate again depending on financing. But no free canopy.

Yeah, the $1500 rebate or the 0% or the $500 w-0% are all standard program right now, but you only get the free canopy if you bring your coupon. Canopy is worth about $250 or so. They sent the flyer out to the last 15,000 Kioti customers as a loyalty program.

Looks like, from the program wording, that it is a little different in Canada, looks to me like Canada financing offer is the same, but the low price of $9,999 is not - it shows the price is $10,499 for Canada...BUT you would definitely need to check with a Canada dealer to find out for sure.

Had my local dealer order a green one for me today from the warehouse in Wendall... looks like i will be pulling it home on Thursday. I drove one Saturday morning and the deal that the local guy worked up I couldn't pass on.

Seems odd that the Can/US currency exchange rate is in Canada's favour (Approx. 1.04) but clearly not reflected in these prices

Yeah. Go to the bookstore and see if they charge you the "Canada" price listed in the jacket, even though it is likely 15 to 20% over the US price.

Canadian exporters suffer when the CD$ appreciates, but it seems domestic (CD) consumers can only get the benefit of greater buying power if they live close enough to the border to cross over and buy in the US.

Because the Canadian dealers are located across the border from the Kioti Warehouse/headquarters, they are charged greater freight / brokerage fees and duties. Hence, the Canadian UTV price is slightly higher.
