Nice work, Gravy. I really like the two receivers on the quick attach plate. Very versatile. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Gravy, how thick is the steel on the ditch scraper? Can you give me approximate dimensions? How is it holding up?

Thanks,

I came across something that you might can use to help with your welding. It is a magnifier lens that fits inside a welding helmet. Your local welding supply should have it. Just a couple of dollars. It helped me to see better. I use the automatic helmet. Good luck

Thanks J.J.
I have stopped welding unless its a sunny day. That really helps me if it is bright. I have tried using spot lights with limited success. I will get the magnifer lens and give it a try.

Bob,

The plate is about 5/16" - 3/8". I haven't used it much, but when I did it snagged some rocks pretty hard and doesn't seem to have bent. If it does, I'll add some reinforcement.

Pajoube, what # lens are you using ?

Maybe a lower # might help.

So far I have not gotten any lenzes but have taken work outside in the sunlight which has really helped. Part is due to being a rookie.
