I was always annoyed that my Kubota B3030 had a cross brace right under the engine oil drain plugs.
Made for a messy oil change. Recently my wife threw out a small oven pan which was the perfect size to fit under the drain plugs.

I suspect that cross member is part of the FEL mount and should protect one of these.
Check out Fumuto and EZ drain plugs, they are made to attach a drain tubing. You do have to know the correct thread size before shopping.
Drain the oil right into transport jugs.

Is Kubota the only one that runs a double dip type oil pan with two drain plugs, with the front driveshaft going up the middle?

When I first saw mine, I thought if that driveshaft ever comes loose like one did on a very old Jeep Cherokee of mine, it would wreck that pan in short order!

Good use of the pan! At least the concern that some had when I suggested putting those Fumoto drains on mine are eliminated with that cross member there, as they said it could easily get ripped off hanging down ... I was more looking to put them on my transmission as it holds 13 gallons, and that's a big HEAVY drain pan ...

OP: the above after market valve looks like a good alternative to the mess you describe, though i'd be cautious about adding the alternative plug plumbing and it's extension below the stock plug oil pan level in rough conditions.

personally, i'd stick with factory and your wife's pan. one mishap in plumbing or involving the plug extension, and all is lost.
maybe put plastic bag over cross member when changing & discard, less messy than dealing w/2 drain pans, regards

That's what I do when I change the oil filter on my RAM pickup with the 5.7, as it's mounted right ABOVE the ELECTRIC power steering motor!

yup, way to do it. i do the same on my Kawi z turn changes that put contaminating belts at risk, etc.
OP: i'd be hesitant on after market engine drain plugs, keep simple

Need is the mother of invention or finding a cake pan. My M5640 isn't as bad as yours but was a pain until I made this

IDK about that but I've worked on a Deere that has the transmission cooler wrapped around a non greasable ujoint on a driveshaft.
I mentioned it to a JD tech and he called it the donut.

I have a collection of metal and plastic pieces to guide waste oil to where I want it. For the op's cross member, I think a 2 or 3" diameter pvc pipe cut maybe 1/3rd down into a shallow "U" shape may do the trick.

On my larger tractor it has a valve like the Fumuto on the engine oil, and the radiator. It makes changing fluids easy! However the valves are well protected and so there is little concern with them, you just slip a hose on the valve and no mess. However on my low slung Massey 20C a valve would be a recipe for disaster, it is low slung and has the paint worn off the bottom of the oil pan from rubbing on the ground.
