How would you use this tower on the farm (150-200ft)?

We're so far down in a canyon I think it'd be a TV antenna mast, We get pretty good reception at 30' even some Austin channels if the weather is just right with 200' we could get a bunch more although I think once I get our house built I'll probably go satelite.

I saw a much smaller tower the other day that I thought was pretty cool. Had a basketball backboard on it, several feet above that was a security light and on the very top a big American Flag. If I had something that was 200' I would certainly add a TV antenna to it also.

I would use it to mount our Aeromotor windmill. That would put it well enough above the tree tops to pump fresh, aerated water into the pond.

Windmill base! That may be the the answer that will get a response from the wife that excludes "That's just more junk for behind the barn." Thanks. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I saw it and knew I needed it for my resource stash.

That's just a fancy word for scrap pile. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

No, it it not a scrap pile! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif What would be your word for the filling in the blank: When a round trip to Home Depot takes half a day many projects are done with materials on hand. Therefore your home site should have an assortment of _________________ to make/complete projects.

The justification to purchase "scrap" or "junk" is frivolous. Other words must be used! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Oh, don't forget Ham Radio or CB radio.

If I had such a tower I would be putting a wireless braodband antenna on it. Also a TV antenna so I could get the Houston and Austin stations. The local stations are jokes. One is 90% TAMU athletics*, the other has a local tower but is 90% Waco area stuff. I would also put up a good FM antenna so I could get decent music.

* I most definitely am NOT an Aggie. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
