I have garage project that I am going to be working on this summer. I was going to build a block garage, but after buying a metal carport this winter and seeing how heavy duty they are made, I started looking into possibly getting a metal garage. They look nice and from the site you buy it from, they put it together for you. I would just have to lay down a concrete slab. I've been going back and forth with this trying to figure out the best way to go. I like the sturdiness of a concrete block garage, but for price and assembly, the metal garage you can't beat. I can get a 26' x 40' x 10' high garage built for under $7000. I would add my own garage door since I don't want the roll up door that they provide. Anyone have one of these metal garages? Pros and cons? I also am concerned about how I can insulate it also. Spray on maybe?
