I've got an Adaptoll catalog at my shop. I'll look tomorrow. I can swear I looked in it for these and didn't see anything. Wedge, if you replace these fittings, I would pay you for them. I think I can screw a conventional metric on there and make it work with no machining, but I would need one in my hands to make sure. What I am thinking is that a 12mm light female fitting may work. When you go to Indy tomorrow, ask them to try one and see how it looks. If it doesn't, you could get a counterbore tool and machine the fitting and then it will definately work. No welding or fancy machining required. Just one tool and a drill press.

The hose is standard 100R2, basically just plain ol' 2 wire.

Dang double posts.

*****I just checked the adaptall online catalog. The 9022 fitting in the post above will not work. The 9022 is a male JIC x metric female. If it was metric ORFS, it would specify it. I remember e-mailing Darryl at adaptall and received confirmation of this.

I'm not sure I have this right. What you're saying is get a 12mm and thread it onto the flat face of the female part on the hose?

Wedge, ask them for a 12mm light female and screw it onto the metric flatface male. It may work depending on the sealing face of the male end.

Strike three.. It was sort of funny to watch though. I think I has 4 counter guys and two upper level guys working on this for about 30 minutes. They tried everything they could think of but NO-GO. I did confirm that the female are 12 and 15MM respectively. Not the 18 and 22 I was told last week. Guess I'd better get some metric nuts and make sure.
They did make a spice for me, since my hoses are SAE. I now have a 2' piece that I can add and remove when I need to. Or if I need to mate up to something normal. Still if a hose breaks or something I'm screwed.

As time allows I might see if a friend could rework the cylinders to me standard JIC or NPT type fittings. The when the time come I could just replace the valves and be on my way.

I asked them if it would do any good to email or talk to Parker Industries to let them know there is a market out there that could be tapped.

WCH - "ask them for a 12mm light female and screw it onto the metric flatface male. It may work depending on the sealing face of the male end."

If I'm looking at my photos, are talking about finding a female (Nut) that wil thread onto the male part on the pump. We never did get that far, but I'm sure I can find 12mm nuts around here somewhere.

AND YOU DIDN'T TAKE PICTURES! Sorry, but I don't deal Parker. They do make good stuff, but I knew this was going to happen. I won't say that I told you so. I would have liked to see those guys at the big shop squirm. I am shocked that they did splice a piece in for you. SAE hose or not, that's a big no-no. Save the receipt, if it blows and does any damage, they are liable.

What I meant by a 12mm was a 12mm light fitting that crimps on a hose. I know that it will screw onto the pump fitting, but I don't know if it will make a good seal. If anyone has any of these fittings laying around, I will pay for them. Even if it's on a blown hose.
