Wayne County Hose said:I've got an Adaptoll catalog at my shop. I'll look tomorrow. I can swear I looked in it for these and didn't see anything. Wedge, if you replace these fittings, I would pay you for them. I think I can screw a conventional metric on there and make it work with no machining, but I would need one in my hands to make sure. What I am thinking is that a 12mm light female fitting may work. When you go to Indy tomorrow, ask them to try one and see how it looks. If it doesn't, you could get a counterbore tool and machine the fitting and then it will definately work. No welding or fancy machining required. Just one tool and a drill press.
The hose is standard 100R2, basically just plain ol' 2 wire.
Dang double posts.
*****I just checked the adaptall online catalog. The 9022 fitting in the post above will not work. The 9022 is a male JIC x metric female. If it was metric ORFS, it would specify it. I remember e-mailing Darryl at adaptall and received confirmation of this.
I'm not sure I have this right. What you're saying is get a 12mm and thread it onto the flat face of the female part on the hose?
