Hi All,
I think I am getting the idea about the draft control :confused2:

With the air getting into the hydraulic lines, how do you prime it? I have just got the bucket controls repaired, new O rings and seals, and I thought I may have to bleed the air out of the lines once I re-install it.

I think the idea of a second hand alternator is a good one and will have a look for one when I got to town next.

G'day Mick to bleed out any air just operate the loader through its full movement a couple of times and this should rid the system of any air

After my regulator burned up in a dash fire I put an old one wire alternator on my MF135 diesel. It charges fine at partial throttle or anything above idle. I put in a voltage gauge in one of the many dash holes. Since I don currently have an ignition?? switch I have a separate switch that applies 12V to the Alternator through a fuse. Sometimes I forget to turn the charging system on so will have to get a ignition or accessory\starter switch some day. You can make out the alternator in this shot.
