Clutch disc? Isn't it the friction disc for keeping the throttle where you put it?
See my post above when i was referring to clutch disc i meant friction disc. Take a look at the entire linkage. One could reposition the throttle. The OP couldn't idle the engine with the replacement linkage. I suggested he adjust the linkage. With the adjustment behind the friction disc on the end of rod#4 is a clamp #27 that can reposition the rod for a higher rpm at idle.
