Hi,
I have a MF 200 that we have had since new. Its equipped with the forward / reverse shuttle shift pedals, and a high / low two speed transmission. Recently decided to change the very brown transmission fluid. Drained from both plugs, ran a little bit to clear the pump. Added Tractor Supply fluid that said it was compatible with the spec fluid number (Don't have this number with me right now). When I first changed the fluid, the tractor would only move in reverse. After sitting over night, it would move forward / backwards fine. Took it for a test mow, and ran fine for about 30 minutes. Then it would start to slow down and then seem to 'catch' and then move again. Eventually it stopped all together, and had to let it sit overnight. Next day it was fine, although it did slow down a few times back to the shop. Its almost like air is getting in the pump, or its cavitating or something. Any ideas? Bad tranny oil?
Thanks ---
