MF 222 backhoe on a MF 203 Workbull

Maybe working together we can figure out what bearing this is going to take. The dealer told me that lower bearing costs $500. After I bought the upper bearing I ran the numbers on ebay and find one for $17.00

Are you talking about the pin that holds the boom to the frame (right by the wooden blocks in your picture)?

No sir. The pin below the turn cylinder. The one you are looking for a bearing for. I didn't bring my camera along to take a more current picture. At this time I have the round cylinder off and the splined base it sets in that has two 3/4 inch pins in it.

With a new plan in mind I set about pressing that lower pin out.

I found that lower bearing is not a press-fit bearing. It's a floating bearing and is round on the ends as is the bushing in the mast bracket.

The bearing slides in & out via these cut-outs. I had heard Massey Ferguson didn't spare the machine work making their machines easy to repair.
