MF 231S FEL hydraulic pump problem

Looking closely at the first pix (left one) something is missing.
U stated pump shaft moves freely.
The other end (under the rad), does it turn with engine running? if so that end is OK.
Suggesting that the coupling mechanism is gone.

Could this pump installation be a home brew? might the coupling simply been a length of hydraulic hose clamped onto the 2 shafts? (an old DIY coupling trick).

Just a thought.

?? does the pushed back shaft have internal splines that match the pump splines?
If that is the case the shaft might just have slipped off of the pump splined shaft in which case U might just be missing a set screw that locks the splines together (or it loosened).
See if you can't slide forward the engine side shaft and fit it onto the pump spline.

I'm not sure what's missing. It was working good until this happen. I'm not sure if other end is turning under radiator. It is going through hole in front. Also I'm not sure of if pump installation is home brew. Is there another route that I might can take instead of removing entire front end to pull shaft out to fix. With engine, shaft do not turn now which it use to turn. Shaft was on the pump spline when it stop working.

Ok, what is the best way to tackle this job? I know the front of tractor has to be disassemble.

Can you see underneath is the shaft broken ( Weld ) bad union or just came out of the crank , Maybe a mirror and drop light to see under before you take it apart

No weld is not broken..

In another post somebody said take the 3 bolts out of the crankshaft pulley and see if the belt will fit between the pulleys, And see if the shaft is broken

Do any members happen to have picture of external auxiliary pump that I can hook my FEL up to instead of onto of them 3point lift. I want it to independently.
