MF 231S transmission

Fellow at work has this tractor at his hunting camp. Trying to get some suggestions for him as to what could be wrong. It's an 8 speed with hi/low range. Bought new in 2002 only has 300 hrs. He locked in differential, put it in low range & let out the clutch and heard a bang. Now he has nothing.

That is great, many thanks. I tried searching you tube and couldn't find that. I am guessing that is his problem also.
