small disclaimer - I'm fairly new to the forum so if this post is in the wrong section or a repeat... sorry bout that any guidance that could help my search would be greatly appreciated!

So i'm in the process of rebuilding a MF #25 disc i had a couple questions and for some reason im having a hard time getting a direct answer. I think i read there are two different types/styles of #25's based on years built (the old style and the new style), how does one tell the difference between the old and the new? I'm wondering what the stock size/shape/center hole of the disc were for this model disc. Also wondering if there is possibly a website that sells replacement parts? I'm in need of a few scrapers, a disc spacer (6 1/2" long with a 1" square center), and lever assembly. I figure chances are very slim that there is an online store that sells parts but i'm sure someone on this page is a old disc encyclopedia with lots of parts and knowledge that can lead me in the right direction. Any help would be great!

Thanks guys

Couple pictures. I actually ordered the disc of agriculture supply Jeff, great site. But I can't find the spacer... I think I'm gonna have to find someone parting out an old #25.

Go to AGCOPartsBooks AGCO Parts Books , and enter as a guest user. Type in your model number, then select M-F as the brand to the right, hit enter. Look down the list, then select the disk. A menu will appear on the next page, select the section, the part is on. A page will appear with an exploded view of it, and to the right a description, and part number. Copy and paste the part number you are looking for to a good search engine. I have the best luck with Google. If there are any aftermarket, or used parts out there, and the dealer lists that part number, it will find it.

If you don't get any hits there, go to TractorHouse TractorHouse.com | Used Tractors For Sale: John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Kubota. Over in the menu on the left side, 3rd item down is a "Want to buy" option. It is a free search, and connects you to many salvage yards. You'll need the part number, and description, your contact info, etc. I've used this more than several times, and usually within 24 hours, someone has had the hard to find part I needed for tractors and implements.

You may even want to try a Massey dealer if all else fails. Using the part number is the key to finding any part. I have a model 22 M-F disc, and found a spool I needed for mine. I even found a place that makes new wooden bearings, if a person needs them.

To save you some time, I ran the search. Spools are the same part number for both early, and late production. Only one place shows a new one, but the picture looks like the one that is the bearing spool. Besides that, it's in the Ukraine. Torent-Trade Ltd. - SPOOL - Золотник PART#: 663452M3 AGCO - sale parts

So maybe find the axle size, and try to find a generic spool that matches what you want. Or, do the want to buy ad at TractorHouse.
