Starting the teardown today. It has the 8 err 4+2. I could only run in and do a couple things and run off. According to the wife I am supposed to be getting ready for Florida vacation. Haha

Finally got around to doing some more work on the Massey. Throwout bearing is done, time for new clutch, and splines on hub for hydraulic driveshaft are blown out.

Looks like you got a hand full of work out of it. It will be a great tractor with a new clutch.

I hope so! My goal is done by Christmas. Will be nice to see the hydraulics work.

Stuff does not look too bad. Still have to disassemble the pressure plate to pull the hub out.

You are lucky you've got somewhere nice to work at it on.

First time... Usually life is like this (see picture) that Massey barely fit and I have been working hard on the garage. I am use to working outdoors in dirt or gravel. Pulled f250 trans in gravel. Just did hubs in rain that changed to snow. Never can be easy to save a buck lol

I am the same way actually, I have a small heated garage with concrete floor, I can fit a tractor in minus roll bar, but my F250 doesn't fit..so any truck work is like you...outdoors on dirt and rain. Looks like a 2003-2006ish F250?

2001, lost a hub about a week after I picked tractor up. Glad it waited :D
