I am also interested in knowing how a quieter mower is safer... never heard of this concept.

Can you give us idea of price on these as I am still researching prices, but I am in the 1K +/- bracket when it comes to purchasing... I don't mow for a living nor will my pasture require a lot of mowing each year so basically the mower will be sitting more than moving.

A local wholesaler has LMC and WAC 60"mowers ranging from $990-1100. A semi-local dealer has Simca 60" for $1059. Where are you located in Ohio? Maybe someone knows of a good deal close to you.

I went to Midwest and they have a dealer in Blanchester OH at Mad River Trading Post. That is about an hour or so away from me.

CCI you all don't carry or know if manschio finishing mowers have front rollers on the front or can retro-fit one to a manschio 6' /curtis fm 180 do you?

The pictures on the Corriher page shows what looks to me to be a First Choice. I could be wrong...have been before /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sicma has two series of mowers. Kioti has the best series and in the past FC was the heavier series but with the US$ to EURO value exchange rates lower than last year, many of the vendors have been mixing in the lighter models. I have not seen any of the lighter models with FC on them.

Sorry about that. I believe they sold other midwest stuff, and to me it looke pretty similar.
