Midwest products, nice BUT...

I, too, have corresponded with Jim via email on a couple of occasions and found his responses not only timely but also right on the mark with the answer I needed and usually more. I've found him to be very giving of his time and knowledge both here on TBN and in email correspondence as well.

My first purchase of an implement his company built was based solely on those things and the good feeling I got interacting with Pieter at First Choice and him when they were doing business together. I liked what I heard from them on here and in private correspondence so I ordered one of their products. I was and am happy I did so. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think that updating the web sites could stop a lot of confusion. Wherever possible put prices, shipping policies, who served, and some idea as to shipping costs. Put a disclaimer on the prices. Let the website answer the questions that a flood of email is asking.

Mike, I'm thinking along similar lines, but I'm a bit more deliberate. If you want to have a web presence ( website ) you should and must be ready and able to manage your business at the rate required by this "information age". Regular internet users get used to a certain level of functionality and level of detail on websites. If your're ready to step into the web world, you need to be ready for the backlash.

If you are NOT looking to go all the way, just put up a big banner on your website saying call by phone.

Just more of my rant ! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Yes, we do have access to the whole line.

Give Jim some slack guys. Being in business ain't as easy as people think. I'd rather have Jim miss an email here and there and make a good product than sit behind a desk returning emails all day while the product goes in the toilet. Just my $.02
