Oh God please tell me that wasn't at Pacific! If so who was it? Dave, Mike, Dave, or the new guy? Thank God Frank left!
Don't worry... am here on TBN for the education. I only buy my metal from them. I think the guy is Steve? Tall guy with beard? Any suggestions on a better place for material? Oh, and when can I come over for a little education? I will load my welder in my truck in a heartbeat!

Steve must be the new guy! I've known Dave for about 30 + years, real good guy! Dave that works in the iron shop is a nice guy too. Frank is a nice guy too, just dumber than a box of rocks.

Anytime, tomorrow is wide open for me. Last week I was promised my Red face machine would be done in Seattle, but never got the call.

All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you to Shield Arc!!! I just had the privilege of spending a couple of hours with SA in his shop. I brought over my welder and he put it through some paces, seeing what it can do and then proceeded to educate me in the art of welding. Amazing what I learned in a short time and I surprised myself at my improvement with his guidance. Walked out of there with a big grin and some needed confidence and understanding of how to use my MIG machine! :cool2:

I'm a newbie and need all the help I can get...

"Walked out of there with a big grin and some needed confidence and understanding of how to use my MIG machine! "

Shield Arc would hate me if I went to his place. I'd have to touch and try out everything and ask 3286 worthless questions and then having to call the cops to physically remove me, and all the hassle of the restraining orders to keep me away. I can just see the judge shaking his head in disbelieve... but sir, you've been having a big problem with your neighbor for years and it's about to be resolved. Now you're saying she's an angle and you were confused?:pullinghair::D

Isn't it a really neat (or cool or whatever is the current term) thing that a guy like Shield Arc is available and offers to help folks who want to learn how to improve their welding skills. A resource of tremendous worth to those who take advantage of the opportunity. You and I are lucky/fortunate people.
