The short answer to the OPs question is that I do have experience with the Miller Bobcat /Trailblazers and it MAY be what he needs or it may not be. Need more info as to what the application is.
I have a Bobcat 225. I use mine a couple times a year to keep my house powered, running it for an hour or so, then off for a few. It is noisy, it requires me to go out and hook it up, and start it (electric) but it meets my needs for the 1-3 times a year the power goes out. I can easily last a few days power outage on the gas in the tank, using it on 1 hour out of every few. Mine is probably used 100hrs welding for every hour generating, so it is right for what I want.
The quality of the power, the engine, and the construction far exceeds that of any of the big box store consumer generators out there, and I expect mine to last forever with my usage and reasonable maintenance. Can't say that for the big box gens.
SO - If the OPs need is for a gas powered welder with occasional use for backup power - I would highly recommend the Millers. HOWEVER - if the OP wants a long run backup generator with the occasional welding need, I would buy a dedicated stand-by generator. There are some very nice permanent backup power solutions out there, and there is a lot to be said for auto-start, auto-switch over, better muffling and natural gas or propane fuel. There are also some nice portable generators that could be dragged out to the field to plug in a MIG or Stick Welder. All depends on the expected usages and how much of each.
