I was wondering if anyone in Florida has the Millonzi 48" Grappler that is installed on a compact tractor. I am thinking about buying one, but would like to see one up close. Island Tractor has been very helpful in my quest, but I still would like to see one. I travel through south and north Florida, so a side trip is not out of the question.

I favor it because it is light, but I don't want it to light to where it would be easily damaged. I would be using it to clear downed timber residue. It would be installed on a Massey 1533.

Thanks,

John

I put this thing through the mill and I am impressed with how rugged it is. Highly recommended!

On island tractors advice I bought it and have been very pleased. Only rec is to get a covering for the hoses - they are a little fragile and exposed.

Highly recommended

Not from Florida but I will throw in my opinion of the grapple. I have a 48" on my L39. Hydraulics are pretty strong compared to most CUTs. I suppose I could damage it if I tried but that's probably true with anything. I have picked up and pulled 25" diam. cherry logs 16 ft. long out of a creek (so they are waterlogged and very heavy). The angles were not optimal either. The grapple has held up well. As far as bang for your buck it's going to be tough to beat. There are definitely stronger ones but IMO they are overkill at least for my needs. Expensive too.

What frame is the L39 built with from the regular Kubota line?

Yekrut,
Nice..just the kind of information I am looking for.
I agree, if you set out to damage it, you probably can, but if you respect the equipment, it won't do you wrong.

John I have the 48" grapple here in central Fl. I've had it about a year and use it commercially and haven't had any problems with it yet. I have added some sheilds to protect the hoses. Send me a PM and i'll give you my number. I'm in the Leesburg, Mt. Dora area about 1 hour SE of Ocala and 1 hour NW of Orlando.
