Just to be clear, I could do the things you listed with a scut as could any experienced tractor operator on this forum. It just would not be my tool of choice.

A forum that tells a member what they want to hear shouldn't be too hard to find. There are also Bigfoot and ghost hunting web sites.

BX owners have reported several times, if not to tout their subs for pulling a box blade. My small CUT is quite similar to a Mahindra Max 26. Same bare wt, width, wheelbase, tire sizes (23-8.5x12 frt, 12x16.5 rr), and hp. It has position control and no med range. All work is done in low range at 4mph or so. (ugh) It pulls my drag, blade, & LR ok but takes forever to run 550 ft down my d'way in low.

btw, my >30hp CUTs can barely pull my 5' box blade so I only use it for ballast and to pull snow away from buildings anymore. All three CUTs I own spin all four tires too often with it to use the BB for much else.

But should we also explain that a rear blade is much better than a box blade for driveway maintenance?

Just about everyone said go buy a SCUT if you are laser focused on that ... It just isn't the best choice for the tasks identified.

Heck, I'd like to have a SCUT to add to my stable. It would just see limited action.

A land plane is superior to a box blade for a driveway. Scut ain't gonna do it. Check out GP Outdoors, he does a fairly in depth evaluation.
